Look out Grand Rapids, you just got your first Google AdWords Partner! After logging lots of hours fighting, we mean working, with Google, ddm search specialist Meghan Pratt passed the Google AdWords Exam, making our agency an official Google AdWords Certified Partner.
You might be wondering what qualifies ddm as a Google AdWords Certified Partner. In order to become a certified partner, the agency must have managed at least a US $10,000 spend over 90 days, have spent ad dollars on at least 60 days out of a 90-day period and have at least one individually qualified employee. Since we added search marketing to our menu of services in 2007, ddm has worked to create and manage creative and effective AdWords campaigns for over 26 clients, including College for Creative Studies, Stryker, Pink Cart, Herndon Capital Management, and PerfMoto.
The Google AdWords exam consists of two separate tests. The first test is a general AdWords exam that covers the basics of online advertising, account management and the value of search advertising. For the second test, exam-takers can choose between three disciplines to specialize in: search, display or reporting. Meghan chose search as her focus, which took her through the best practices for search advertising.
