The Interactive Specialized Project Manager (SPM) is responsible for managing, monitoring, processing details, and providing detailed project support on interactive projects. This role also involves vendor and client interactions that are key to maintaining highly responsive service levels. At ddm, SPMs are responsible for supporting teams, both internally and externally, on a daily basis. This position is designed to provide depth to the Account Service team, resulting in stronger account relationships that ultimately translate into new projects with existing accounts, or new business prospects.

What does an Interactive Specialized Project Manager do?
- Serve as the interactive and technical supporting client contact when needed
- Help identify opportunities to grow accounts and support the interactive planning and discovery process
- Provide clarity by knowing and reporting on project statuses, budgets, and timelines
- Provide clarity by managing detailed interactive project plans
- Effectively manage and track day-to-day details of multiple interactive project plans
- Manage detailed project budgets, timelines, and interactive specific Project Health metrics
Professional skills + qualifications needed for consideration:
- Deep familiarity and experience with project management software
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize multiple projects and tasks
- Proven ability to support clients through effective verbal and written communication
- Excellent attention to detail, especially when testing deliverables
- Ability to work both independently with little supervision and in a collaborative team environment
- Well-organized and detail-oriented
- Very persistent and reliable on follow-up with multiple clients/projects
- Flexible during times of change; able to conform to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines promptly and efficiently
- Persuasive, encouraging, and motivating
- Willing to learn, understand, and apply new technologies and competencies
- Experience supporting clients in an agency setting
- Able to work with remote developers in a hybrid work environment
- Familiarity with agile development (Sprint/Scrum)
Specific duties and responsibilities to support your roles:
- Grow existing relationships by expertly managing details and expectations
- Effectively communicate detailed project expectations and priorities to the interactive team in a timely, clear, and respectful fashion
- Own client satisfaction by being proactive in gathering internal and vendor feedback, helping the team exceed expectations and keeping projects on track
- Gain and maintain a detailed knowledge of the steps and tasks that go into interactive projects
- Listen for and communicate growth opportunities for accounts
- Work with teams to help identify and quickly communicate changes in project scope
- Schedule and lead internal and external interactive-specific traffic and planning meetings (examples: timeline, budget, milestone, planning, estimating, capacity, sprint, and stand-up meetings)
- Attend and participate in internal cross-department status and planning meetings
- Follow up with Marketing Project Managers and Account Leaders on project progress and status; follow up with clients and vendors on outstanding questions or assets
- Support the development of cross-department project plans; own and support the development of interactive and detailed project plans
- Produce meeting notes/recaps for internal department-specific traffic and planning meetings, clearly identifying next steps
- Identify and document actionable tasks required to execute, track, and bill for interactive projects
- Ensure interactive project documents and meeting recaps are complete, current, and stored properly
- Be proactive in communicating project dependencies and expectations within the interactive team
- Review detailed interactive project plans
- Be deeply ingrained with internal and external project management platforms (Teamwork Projects, Jira, SmartSheets, etc.)
- Assist with team capacity forecasting to ensure timely delivery of all commitments; be proactive in requesting assets, edits, and data, where possible removing roadblocks for the team
- Proof, check, and test project deliverables and reporting documents according to specs and feedback
- Own and oversee the Project Health metric for interactive projects
- Review interactive project-related time entry, looking for errors and comparing against budgets
- Provide clarity and assist Marketing Project Managers with billing, as needed
- Assist the interactive team with providing estimates to Marketing Project Managers and
Account Leaders - Ensure the team enters project time correctly, and understands the budgets for the appropriate jobs in Sage Intacct
- Maintain a utilization rate of at least 30 billable hours per week
