Christian Schools International Data-driven recruitment website

Challenge
With a portfolio of five major services, Christian Schools International (CSI) and member schools have historically emphasized the value of employee benefits and retirement solutions, despite additional value in the other four service lines. CSI leadership wanted a website that clearly reflected all of its values, complete with a login portal for CSI members. Additionally, CSI sought guidance on stretching their brand principles to deliver a compelling and modern brand identity.
Solution
ddm and CSI partnered in 2017 and 2018, beginning with a communications audit. By conducting internal and external market research on the perceived value of a CSI membership, the organization set guiding principles and goals for the redevelopment of the website: add value in membership, recruit new members, and equally promote the products and services that CSI offers.
Presenting each service line as a visual channel of content for users to follow created value for both existing and prospective members. Reworking content into organized, digestible, and concise presentation allows CSI to reach their target audience, on all platforms/devices, at the right time.
Result
Within three months of launch, the website averaged one membership conversion per week, an 85% increase from the previous average. Extrapolated over one year, CSI expected a 50% return on their investment in year one.
From a design perspective, through an expanded color palette, subtle stock photography, colorful illustrations, and custom photoshoot assets, this brand extension thrives in a digital format.
The largest deliverable of this established strategy was the development of a new website. Our designers and developers used the research and audit revelations to create unique landing pages that drive users to their desired information.
