Hastings Piston Rings is a global leader in piston ring technology. The company wanted to relaunch its brand reflective of its heritage—hard-working, built to last, and committed to leading for years to come.
The solution involved developing a clear documentation of brand positioning, along with an update to Hastings' logo and Tough Guy mascot, a video to communicate the new brand, and photography to support the evolution.
We also detailed the application and uses of the logo, images, graphics, and messaging across marketing and sales assets. Additionally, the new brand was updated on the company’s website and functionality was improved to help customers navigate a complex product line. In a short period of time, the reinvigorated brand was applied across all facets of Hastings’ marketing efforts.
All sales and marketing materials are now on-brand and include consistent, cohesive messaging. Communication through a multitude of channels and tactics cemented the brand identity in the eyes of customers and target audiences.
The adjustments made to the Tough Guy image resulted in a look that keeps the same feel but is more current and draws attention to his unique expression.
