Challenge
After numerous years as distribution partners, Lumbermen’s purchased Michigan PreStain. Among its assets, Michigan PreStain had developed a proprietary process of milling and finishing dimensional wood to produce the character of vintage planking with the convenience of modern engineering.
Solution
Lumbermen’s leaned on ddm to help develop a new brand from the ground up. New name. New identity. New positioning. The brand Great American Spaces was built around the experience of bringing the outdoors in with real warmth, real texture, and real vintage character for walls, ceilings, and more.
Result
With its brand clearly defined, we applied it to product positioning, product architecture, sales materials, packaging, website, social media channels, advertising, and other marketing tactics. The result was a brand that embodied the multi-faceted qualities of Lumbermen’s new wood planking product.
