Challenge
Virtus Investment Partners is a growing investment firm with a multi-boutique structure.
In 2017, all Virtus marketing materials required updates to support the doubling of products, accommodate a changing compliance environment, and precisely extract data points – from multiple sources with multiple file types – to feed the product content across the sites.
Simultaneously, Virtus looked to us to expand the automation process, knowing updated the solutions would keep pace with their continued growth.
Solution
Investment products are more than static data on a page; the data changes frequently and investment managers need to keep up. So product performance must be presented – accurately – across multiple delivery channels, like fact sheets, commentaries, and web pages. This allows users to choose their preferred method for access it.
Automating fact sheets and other sales and marketing materials allowed Virtus to support more targeted marketing efforts in-house, such as individual documents.
As a multi-manager firm, it wasn’t just one website that needed to change, it was all of its sites, each with its own look and feel, changing at the same time.
Result
Virtus was able to meet these needs and consolidate resources from three separate solutions to ddm’s custom content management system and leverage its abilities to power every aspect of their marketing materials – quickly and accurately delivering product performance information, within brand guidelines and compliance rules.
Our work for Virtus continues to expand as the firm grows, most recently supporting its new strategic partnership with Allianz Global Investors.
